    Can you give me the URL of your geocities website so that I can check that you have pasted the code correctly?

    You have made an error in the implementation of the code.

    I just figured out a new hack: when you link to a page, at the end of the link just add “?20061″

    ex. http://www.geocities.com/btvsmemoirs/halo-info.html http://www.geocities.com/btvsmemoirs/halo-info.html?20061

    And at the VERY END of ALL pages add the and <xmp> tags</xmp>

    I tried your suggestions for suppressing ads, but it does not work for me.

    E.g. Check this page:
    http://ca.geocities.com/twist1@rogers.com/temp

    This page behaves inconsistently; sometimes the ads appear and sometimes they don’t; I don’t know why.

    The following server code is inserted after the tag, so it is processed after your script.

    yvSM=0;yvVP=0;var yviContents=’http://themis.geocities.yahoo.com/themis/as.php?cc=ca&s=382091086&l=NE&b=1&t=1144070967′;yviR=’ca’;yfiEA(0);

    My previous post was not formatted correctly. Corrections:

    The server code was inserted after the body tag, so it is processed after your script.

    The server code did not get pasted correctly. Refer the the source of the link that I listed.

    @Martin - You site seems to work fine now! Good Luck!

    @Chris - your pages have the old ad implementation, so you’ll have to do something a little different now. Here is what you do:

    Between the <html> and <body> tags, add this little piece of code:
    <noframes><body><!--This disables the codes--></body></noframes>

    This should do the trick although I am not too sure. Please try this and tell me if it works.

    Cheers,
    Paul

    Now, if you could help out…

    @Erick: Just use normal HTML (or XHTML!) to create your website. For some GREAT designs, check out www.OPenWebDesign.org or www.OSWD.org.
